The new X-Town 125 Euro 5 maxi type scooter brings a whole new sporty appearance and provides extra comfort for a superior riding experience. The storage space available has been improved, which can fit up to two full-face helmets and a USB socket located in the glove compartment in the leg shield. With its 125cc Euro 5 fuel injected engine backed by a 12.5 L tank, the X-Town is a scooter that delivers good performance in urban areas. You can also trust the X-Town 125 scooters on both roads and highways, due to its ability to perform at 60 mph (90Km/h) and can even reach levels of 68 mph (110Km/h) at its peak. Dave Barkshire Motorcycles is a family run business and has been established in East Anglia for over 40 years, with Fantic, Sherco, Kymco and Rieju Motorcycles by our side. Our wealth of knowledge comes from years of being in the industry, from mechanicing at the Isle of Man TT, racing at the British Superbike Championship, British Enduro Championship and having our own Enduro Off Road Practice Track (at Hit The Dirt).
Based centrally to Norwich on the Rackheath Industrial Estate, Norfolk, we’re Authorised Dealers for Fantic Enduro, Sherco Bikes, Kymco Bikes and Scooters and Rieju Bikes. Our workshop is fully equipped to deal with most brands of motorcycles and scooters in addition to our main brands.
We’re always happy to answer your motorcycle questions and queries and help you make the right choice when buying a new bike in our store. The combination of a wealth of experience and a lasting passion for bikes results in an excellent and honest adviser offering great service with your bike purchase, service or other work to your existing bike.
Premiere Enduro & Offroad practice track
Hit The Dirt is Norfolk's premiere off-road, Enduro practice track situated at Swaffham just off the A47, described by riders as "awesome", "great" and "wicked fun". We're pleased to offer both senior/ main and junior/ beginner tracks in a great forest setting, which provide a great challenge and endless enjoyment.
Refreshments: There is a handy refreshment area where you can purchase a variety of hot (such as paninis, soup, drinks etc) and also cold food and drinks. So now you can make a day of it, ride the tracks, meet up with friends and enjoy some refreshment! We'd love to hear your thoughts and experience of our popular off-road practice track, so get in touch - have a great time, see you there!

The Dave Barkshire Motorcycle Centre store on Rackheath Industrial Estate near Norwich not only houses a great selection of motorcycles, but also many lines of clothing, helmets, accessories and spare parts. Our Service Centre is well equipped to deal with the vast majority of maintenance, servicing, MOT and accident repair work that you may require.
We are more then happy to sit and talk all things bike with you and offer advice as to the current ranges we stock. Whether you have a biking problem, or are looking for a new machine, we will do our best to help.
